Kalia scheme is a scheme of the Orissa state Government. This scheme is launched by the state government for farmer’s welfare.
Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation Scheme is known as KALIA Scheme. Under this scheme farmers of the state will get some financial help from the state government.

Provisions made under this scheme
- Rupees 10 thousand will be given to the beneficiaries of this scheme.
- Under this scheme, anyone can get an interest-free loan of 50 thousand.
- Rupees 12,500 will be given to the landless agricultural households for other activities related to agriculture like cattle breeding.
- Under this scheme, farmers will get life insurance of rupees 2 lakh.

- This scheme will make farmers financially self-dependent.
- Due to this scheme, many unemployed persons can turn towards agriculture as an option of employment.
