Kanya Sumangala Scheme 2024?

Kanya sumangala scheme is just another version of the ‘beti bachao beti padhao’ movement. But in this beneficiaries will not get the helping amount for their daughter’s marriage. Under this scheme, the government provides a heaping amount of rs 15000 for girls’ education.

Which are given in different installments. These installments are given to a girl when she gets a promotion in her school life’s different stages.

Eligibility criteria for this scheme 

  • Only permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh will get benefit of this scheme.
  • Families with an annual income of rupees 3 lakh are not eligible for this scheme.
  • One family’s only two daughters will get benefit of this scheme.
  • If a family has twin daughters then their third daughter also can take this scheme’s advantages.
  • If a family adopts a girl and they have their biological ones too in this situation only two girls will get its benefits.

  • Aadhar card/ voter id card
  • Income certificate (for family’s income verification)
  • Family’s daughter’s recent photos
  • Bank passbook
  • You can use Electricity’s bill also 

When and how much amount will you get under kanya sumangala scheme?

Under this scheme the government will give a certain amount to a girl’s family at a certain time.

First installment

Under this scheme the first installment is given when a family’s girl child got the admission in the 1st class. Rupees 2000 is given by the government under first installment.

Second installment 

Second installment of the kanya sumangala scheme is given to a girl when she got admission in the sixth class. Rupees 2000 give in this installment too. 

Third installment

Third installment is given to those girls who got the admission in the 9th class. But this time they get 3000 rupees.

Fourth installment  

Rupees 3000 will be given in the fourth installment to those girls which passed the 10th and 12th class.

Fifth installment

Fifth installment is given to those girls who are taken admissions in graduation courses or in diploma more than two years. They will get the 5000 rupees.

How to apply in kanya sumangala scheme?

You can apply in the kanya sumangala scheme by both ways online and offline. For applying online you can go to your nearest customer service point and apply on the official website of this scheme.

For applying offline you can go to the related office and submit the form there with the documents. After that your form is passed by an officer and then you are registered in the scheme.

The Aim behind the start of this scheme is pretty clear by its name. Target of this scheme is to empower the girls of the state and give them a bright future.
