The present Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi Ji started the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat campaign on 12 May 2020. The main objective of this scheme is to make 30 crore people of India self-reliant so that we do not have to depend on other countries’ products.
We can create enough our own employment opportunities in India itself that our citizens do not have to go to other countries in search of employment. This will also improve the country’s economy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat campaign would help us fight the world’s biggest pandemic, Covid-19. Given this, Modi has announced an economic relief package of 20 lakh crores to the citizens of the country under this scheme, which is said to be about 10% of the country’s GDP.

Description of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat
The objective of this scheme is to make every citizen of the country self-reliant. Because of Covid 19, most of the country’s businesses are closed, because of which the poor laborers, laborers, farmers, and small business people are suffering a lot due to which they are facing a lot of difficulty in running their household expenses too.
Under this scheme, the people selected by the government will be helped, so that they can start their employment and help in employing other people, the list of people who will be helped by the government is given below.
