e rupi Digital Payment 2024
e-RUPI is a new digital payment system launched by the Prime Minister. It is a voucher-based payment system like gift coupons of many apps. These vouchers are generated by government agencies and corporations by a bank.
These vouchers are only for a one-time payment and after that they are worthless. These vouchers are purpose-oriented like if a government agency launched some vouchers for vaccination payments then they can only be used for this purpose only.
Another benefit of this is that these vouchers are very secure and will keep the details of the beneficiaries secret. These vouchers are based on QR codes and SMS which means they do not need a card, payment app, or internet banking.
