- NIOS centers are set up in the districts of each state to examine students. While registering, you can choose your nearest district.

Documents required for registration in NIOS
Secondary Course (Secondary Subject) – Mark list or self-certificate of the student passed class eight examination.
Senior Secondary Course (Higher Secondary Subject) – Photocopy of 10th class marks certificate passed from any recognized board of the student.
- Recently taken passport size photo
- Signature (by black ink)
- Identity card / Aadhaar card / Passport / Ration card /Voter ID Card etc.
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Resident certificate of the student
- Student’s class 8th / 10th mark certificate
- Student’s Caste Certificate
- Disability certificate of the student (if applicable)
