How to apply for a passport ?
If any Indian citizen wants to apply for a passport, then they must first fill the registration form for the passport. You can also apply for a passport online.

- First of all, you have to open the official passport website https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in.
- After the website is open, you have to click NEW USER REGISTRATION on the left side, it will reach you on the passport registration page.
- Here you have to fill all the information that you have asked for in the form such as applicant’s name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, and your nearest passport office, etc. Click on the register.
- Once you have created your account, you will have to go back to the Passport Seva website again and click on the green Existing User Login which appears on the homepage of the website.
- Write your email id on them and click Continue.
