YSR Bima Scheme 2024
YSR Bima scheme is an insurance scheme of the A.P. government as I mentioned above. This scheme is started for the poor and unrecognized working class. These are the people that work in risky places and do not have any kind of protection and insurance.
In this scheme, if the beneficiary of this scheme dies by an accident or becomes permanently disabled then his family will get the amount of insurance.
Under this scheme, beneficiaries had to pay only Rs. 15 per annum and they will get a cover from Rs. 1.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs. Under this scheme, the beneficiary will get an ID card that contains his policy number and works as a unique ID of the beneficiary.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
- Only white ration cardholders can apply for this scheme.
- All unrecognized workers from the age of 18 to 70 years.

Aim of the YSR bima scheme
This scheme is an insurance scheme. The target of this scheme is to provide insurance cover to those who do not have any kind of insurance coverage. Along with this, this scheme will provide a sense of reliability for the families of millions of unrecognized workers in the state.

How to apply for the YSR Bima scheme?
There is no certain application procedure for this scheme online or offline. There is a door-to-door campaign run by the volunteers for registration under this scheme. These volunteers will check the ration cards and select white ration cardholders. After this, they will collect all the information about them. After all of this selected beneficiaries have to open a bank account and after this procedure will start.
