This scheme of Amma two-wheeler was launched by the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2018
This is an initiative by the state government of Tamil Nadu to help and empower women especially all those who are financially backward.
This scheme is applicable for all the women from all rural as well as urban areas of Tamil Nadu
Through this scheme a subsidy of 50% or Rs. 25,000 whichever would be lower will be provided and the free fund from the government for purchasing the Amma scooter.
